You can track your lost / stolen mobile phone using IMEI tracker. International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) is a international unique ID of a mobile phone. To check IMEI tracking you have to get your mobile phone's 15 digit IMEI code. Every mobile phone is assigned it's own 15 digit unique IMEI code and is never duplicated. How to Find IMEI Tracking Number

  • IMEI Tracking Number is printed on the mobile phone's Invoice/Bill
  • IMEI Tracking Number is printed on the mobile phone's original packing box
  • IMEI Tracking Number is printed under the mobile phone's battery
  • IMEI Tracking Number is printed under the mobile phone's battery
  • Dial *#06# on your mobile phone and it will give you it's IMEI Tracking Number on the screen
  • Android phones usually requires you to use your Gmail account to utilize it's full capabilities. In that case you can also get the phone's IMEI Tracking Number by signing into Google Dashboard. After you signin to "Google Dashboard", select "Personal info & privacy"->"Account overview"->"View Dashboard" option and on "Account overview" page click and expand the Android icon. It will list all the mobile phones connected to this Gmail account, along with their IMEI Tracking Number.

IMEI Tracking by Telecom Operator

Telecom Operators can put a lost / stolen mobile phone's IMEI on tracking based on a police complaint. As soon as the mobile phone device is connected to a telecom operator the IMEI tracker will trace the location of that mobile phone and the police will be informed immediately. This process is however utilized mostly in more serious ciriminal cases and not for every lost / stolen mobile phone. The number of lost / stolen mobile phones are usually quite high and it's not feasible for police and telecom operators to put each and every lost / stolen mobile phone on IMEI tracking.
