The procedure for Mobile Number Portability (MNP) allows you to switch to Reliance CDMA from your existing service provider without changing phone number.   • There is no pending request for transfer of ownership on this mobile phone number
  • The request for porting to Reliance CDMA is within the same circle
  • Please note that if you are a prepaid subscriber, the prepaid balance amount of talk time, if any, will lapse at the time of MNP switching to Reliance CDMA

Mobile Number Portability (MNP) to Reliance CDMA Procedure

The steps below explains the Mobile Number Portability (MNP) to Reliance CDMA procedure in detail:
  • Visit a nearby Reliance CDMA store or retail outlet
  • Get Customer Acquisition Form (CAF) & Porting Form from Reliance CDMA store or retail outlet
  • From your mobile number you want to port, send this SMS to 1900 "PORT "
  • In response to the sent SMS you will receive an SMS reply back with your 8 digit Unique Porting Code (UPC)
  • Fill up the Customer Acquisition Form (CAF) & Porting Form from Reliance CDMA and include 1 Proof of ID, 1 Proof of Address and 1 Photograph (For postpaid mobile number portability, also include a copy of of the last bill from your current service provider)
  • Handover the form and documents to the executive at Reliance CDMA store or retail outlet
  • Choose a new plan you like to subscribe to with Reliance CDMA
  • Collect your new SIM card from the executive at Reliance CDMA store or retail outlet
  • Your submitted porting application and documents will be verified by Reliance CDMA
  • Mobile Number Portability (MNP) to Reliance CDMA application gets processed within 7 days
  • You will be intimated through SMS by Reliance CDMA about the date and time of porting
  • Your old SIM card will be deactivated within 1 hour of stated time of porting
  • Your new SIM card from Reliance CDMA will be activated within 2 hours of stated time of porting
  • Replace the old SIM card with the new SIM card from Reliance CDMA after the specified date and time
